Curry yellow pashmina shawl in cashmere and silk
Pashmina shawl in curry, woven in 60% cashmere and 40% silk with natural fringes at both ends. The silk gives it a lustre and a melange depth pure cashmere lacks. 90 x 200 cm at just 94 grams, handwoven at our own mill in Nepal.

A pashmina shawl in curry, woven from 60% cashmere and 40% silk. The two fibres absorb colour differently, so the blend reads as a soft melange rather than one flat tone, and the silk lends a lustre that pure cashmere does not have.
It is woven in basket weave and finished with natural fringes at both ends. At 90 x 200 cm the whole shawl weighs 94 grams, which is what makes it as wearable indoors, draped over the shoulders in a warm room, as it is outdoors over a coat on a cool evening.
Handwoven at our own weaving mill in Nepal, from cashmere measuring 15 micron.
Care: A cashmere and silk blend wants a gentle hand. Wash it by hand in lukewarm water with a mild detergent suitable for wool and silk, without rubbing or wringing the cloth. Press the water out in a towel, dry it flat and away from direct sunlight, and never put it in the tumble dryer. See our washing and care instructions for the details, how real silk is produced for the fibre itself, and the rest of the range under Silk/cashmere.
