Dark green pashmina shawl in cashmere and silk

Dark green in 60% cashmere and 40% silk, woven on a handloom at our own mill in Nepal. The cashmere is 15 µm; the silk is what gives the surface its sheen, where a shawl in pure cashmere stays matte.

It measures 90 x 200 cm and weighs 94 g, so it drapes rather than sits — over a coat in autumn, across the shoulders indoors, folded small in a bag the rest of the time.

Care: Wash rarely, air often. When it needs it, use a wool detergent and hand wash, or run the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees; dry the shawl flat on a towel and never in the tumble dryer. Our care instructions for cashmere and wool cover pressing and pilling as well.
