Burgundy pashmina shawl in cashmere and silk

Burgundy, woven in 60% cashmere and 40% silk. Two fibres, one dye bath, absorbed at different rates — that is where the melange effect comes from, and the silk adds a sheen that pure cashmere, being matte, cannot.

90 x 200 cm and 94 g: a full-size shawl with almost no weight to it. Wear it across the shoulders, wound as an oversized scarf, or open over a coat.

Care: Airing usually does more than washing. If it does need a wash, a wool detergent and a 30-degree wool cycle — or a careful hand wash — suits this blend; dry it flat and keep it away from the tumble dryer.
