Off-white pashmina shawl in cashmere and silk

An off-white shawl in 60% cashmere and 40% silk. The two fibres take colour differently, which is where the blend gets its depth and its quiet sheen — pure cashmere, by comparison, stays matte.

Ninety by two hundred centimetres of cloth that weighs 94 grams: full shawl width, in something light enough to live folded in a bag and come out when the evening cools. The cashmere is 15 µm and the cloth is a basket weave, handwoven at our own weaving mill in Nepal.
