Sand coloured pashmina shawl in cashmere/silk

A handwoven pashmina shawl in sand, woven from 60% cashmere and 40% silk. The blend gives a softer sheen than pure cashmere, which is matte, and because the two fibres take up the dye differently the colour settles with a gentle melange effect.

The shawl measures 90 x 200 cm and weighs only 94 grams, so it is thin and light enough to wear year round — over a coat in winter, across bare shoulders on a summer evening. The ends finish in natural fringe.

It is woven in a basket weave from cashmere of 15 µm at our own weaving mill in Nepal, alongside the rest of our silk and cashmere shawls.

Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water, or in the machine on the wool programme at 30 degrees, with a detergent made for wool and cashmere. Never tumble dry — dry the shawl flat on a towel. See our full washing and care instructions.
