Sky blue pashmina shawl in cashmere and silk

Sky blue in a 60% cashmere and 40% silk blend. The silk lifts the colour with a sheen pure cashmere does not have, and because silk and cashmere take dye at different rates, the cloth reads as melange rather than flat.

90 x 200 cm, 94 g. Light enough for the months when a layer is only wanted in the evening, wide enough to be a real shawl when it is. The cashmere is 15 µm, woven in basket weave.

Care: Airing usually does more than washing. If it does need a wash, a wool detergent and a 30-degree wool cycle — or a careful hand wash — suits this blend; dry it flat and keep it out of the tumble dryer.
