Pink pashmina shawl in cashmere and silk

A pashmina shawl in pink, handwoven from 60% cashmere and 40% silk. The two fibres absorb dye at different rates, which gives the colour its melange character, while the silk adds a sheen that pure cashmere, matte by nature, does not carry.

Measuring 90 x 200 cm and weighing 94 grams, it is light enough to wear indoors over a dress and long enough to wrap twice around the neck when it turns cold. The ends finish in natural fringe.

Woven in a basket weave from cashmere of 15 µm at our own weaving mill in Nepal, together with the rest of our silk and cashmere range.
