A scarf in pure cashmere, sage green, spun from fibre measuring 15 microns. That figure is the whole story of how a cashmere scarf feels — the finer the fibre, the softer the cloth, and 15 microns is at the fine end of what cashmere offers.
It is woven in twill, the classic weave that lays a pattern of diagonal parallel ribs across the surface and lets the cloth drape rather than hang. At 200 x 70 cm there is enough length to loop it twice around the neck and enough width to wear it open over the shoulders as a stole.
Woven by hand in our own weaving mill in Nepal. You will find it with the rest of our twill woven pashmina stoles, and among our autumn and winter pieces.
Care: Pure cashmere is best aired rather than washed — hang the scarf outdoors overnight, out of direct sunlight, and it will freshen on its own. When it does need washing, use a wool detergent by hand or on the machine's wool programme at 30 °C, press the water out gently, and dry it flat. Never tumble dry. See our care instructions for cashmere and wool for the full method, including how to deal with pilling.
