Dark golden pashmina scarf in twill weave

Dark golden cashmere, woven in twill. The colour has warmth in it, and the twill weave makes the most of that: its diagonal parallel ribs reflect the light in a way a flat weave cannot, so the surface shifts a little as the scarf moves.

It is 100% cashmere, the fibre measuring 15 micron. The scarf is 70 x 200 cm and weighs 135 grams — a size that works wound twice at the neck in winter and thrown open over the shoulders the rest of the year.

Care: Cashmere rarely needs washing — airing it outdoors will do most of the time. When it does, use a detergent made for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on the wool programme at 30 degrees, and avoid rubbing the fabric. Never tumble dry; dry it flat on a dry towel.
