Dark purple cashmere scarf in twill weave

Dark purple, 100% cashmere, twill weave. The twill is a simple pattern of diagonal parallel ribs, and it is what makes the cloth drape elegantly and catch the light rather than lie flat.

This is one of our twill scarves, woven from a yarn spun a little thicker than the yarn in our other cloth: at 135 grams and 70 x 200 cm it is a little thicker and warmer than our lighter weaves, while the fibre stays fine at 15 µm.

Care: Use a wool detergent and wash by hand or on the wool programme at 30 °C. Squeeze the water out rather than wringing it, dry the scarf flat on a towel, and never tumble dry it. If pills appear, take them off with a cashmere comb. See our washing and care page for ironing and steaming as well.
