Dark olive green cashmere scarf

Pure cashmere, woven at our own weaving mill in Nepal from fibre measuring 15 µm — fine enough that the stole is worn against the skin rather than over a collar to keep it there.

The format is 70 x 200 cm, a proper stole rather than a scarf: over the shoulders indoors, doubled at the neck outdoors, and at 135 grams warm enough to carry an autumn and winter through. The twill weave shows the diagonal parallel ribs common to our twill weave stoles and drapes softly because of them. The colour is dark olive green, one of the shades listed on our colour chart.

Care: Cashmere seldom needs washing — airing it outdoors between wears is usually enough. When it does, hand wash or use a wool programme at 30 °C with a wool detergent, avoid rubbing, and dry it flat on a towel rather than on a hanger. Small pills lift off with a cashmere comb.
