Grey brown cashmere scarf in twill weave

A scarf woven from pure cashmere in the classic twill pattern, whose fine diagonal ribs catch the light in the way only a twill does. The fibre measures 15 µm — the fine end of the 15 to 19 µm range that qualifies as cashmere — and that fineness is what you feel the moment it goes around your neck.

At 70 x 200 cm and 135 grams it has enough weight to stay where you put it: doubled once on a cold morning, or left loose over a coat. Grey brown combines easily with the rest of a wardrobe, with jeans as readily as with a formal dress.

Care: Air it outdoors rather than washing it when it is not really dirty. When it does need a wash, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere — by hand in lukewarm water, or on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees — and avoid rubbing the fabric, which risks felting it.
