Grey brown pashmina scarf in twill weave

Grey brown is the shade that goes with everything already in the wardrobe — neither a cool grey nor a warm brown, and useful precisely for that. Here it is woven in 100% cashmere on a twill weave, the diagonal parallel ribs giving the cloth a soft sheen and a drape that settles rather than slips.

The fibre measures 15 micron. The finished scarf is 70 x 200 cm and weighs 135 grams: long enough to loop twice with the ends left hanging, substantial enough to work as a stole over the shoulders when the evening turns cool.

Care: Airing the scarf outdoors overnight is usually enough. When it needs washing, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere — hand wash in lukewarm water or machine wash on the wool programme at 30 degrees.
