Steel blue cashmere scarf in twill weave

Steel blue in 100% cashmere, handwoven in twill at our own weaving mill in Nepal. Twill is the simple pattern of diagonal parallel ribs that makes the cloth drape elegantly.

Cashmere is graded by how fine its fibres are, and the yarn in this scarf is spun from fibres of 15 µm — comfortably below the 19 µm that separates true cashmere from coarser wool. Our twill is woven from a slightly thicker spun yarn than our other cloth, so the finished scarf weighs 135 grams over its 70 x 200 cm.

Care: Wash by hand or on your machine's wool programme at 30 °C with a wool detergent. Press the water out rather than wringing it, dry the scarf flat on a towel, and keep it away from the tumble dryer. Pills come off cleanly with a cashmere comb. Our washing and care page has the rest.
