Navy blue cashmere scarf

Navy blue is the scarf you buy once and keep. This one is handwoven in 100% cashmere on a twill weave, so the surface carries fine diagonal parallel ribs that soften the light and give the cloth a drape that falls cleanly instead of bunching.

The fibre measures 15 micron. Finished, the scarf is 70 x 200 cm and weighs 135 grams — enough length for two turns around the neck, enough body to wear open across the shoulders. Navy sits with everything from a suit to a denim jacket, which is what makes it timeless rather than merely dark.

Care: If the scarf is not dirty, air it outdoors overnight rather than washing it. When it needs more, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on the wool programme at 30 degrees, without rubbing the fabric.
