Fuchsia pashmina shawl in twill weave

Fuchsia, in pure cashmere, woven in twill — a simple pattern of parallel diagonal ribs that catches the light differently from a flat weave. The yarn measures 15 microns, the fine end of the range cashmere is graded on.

The stole measures 70 x 200 cm and weighs 65 grams, which is the appeal of this weave: enough cloth to drape over a shoulder or knot at the neck, with almost nothing to carry. It folds small enough to keep in a bag for an evening that turns cool.

Care: Use a detergent made for wool and cashmere: hand wash in lukewarm water, or the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees. Don't rub or wring the cloth, and keep it out of the tumble dryer — dry it flat on a dry towel. Any pills from rubbing against a coat lift off with a cashmere comb. More on our care page.
