Vibrant green pashmina shawl in 2 ply twill weave

A shawl woven from pure cashmere in a vibrant green — the clear, saturated green of new leaves, and the piece you reach for when the rest of an outfit is deliberately quiet. The fibre measures just 15 micron, so the fabric feels light and dense at once: warm against the skin, without the prickle of coarser wool.

At 70 x 200 cm it drapes generously across the shoulders as a shawl, and gathers just as easily around the neck when the weather asks for it. The whole shawl weighs only 65 grams, so it folds down small enough to keep in a bag all day. The twill weave gives the surface a faint diagonal grain and a soft, fluid fall.

It is handwoven at our own weaving mill in Nepal, where every length is worked on the loom by hand.

Care: Cashmere needs washing far less often than most textiles — airing the shawl between wears keeps it fresh. When it does need a wash, use a detergent made for cashmere and wool, press the water out without wringing, and dry the shawl flat.
