Dark golden pashmina shawl in 2 ply twill weave

Dark golden, in pure cashmere, hand woven in twill.

The cashmere here measures 15 µm. Fibre diameter is the number that decides how a cashmere cloth feels once it is woven, and it is the reason this shawl is smooth against the neck as well as warm across the shoulders. The twill weave adds a pattern of fine diagonal ribs and lets the cloth fall in soft folds.

It measures 70 x 200 cm and weighs 65 grams, and it is woven at our own weaving mill in Nepal. The rest of the colours are in our twill woven pashmina stoles.

Care: If the shawl is not dirty, airing it outdoors overnight is usually all it needs. For a wash, use a detergent made for wool and cashmere — by hand in lukewarm water, or on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, which rinses the soap out better than hands can.
