Mauve pashmina shawl in 2 ply twill

A mauve shawl in pure cashmere, woven in twill so that fine diagonal ribs run the length of the cloth. The yarn is spun from 15 micron fibre, which is what gives the stole its softness against the skin, and the whole thing weighs 65 grams.

The 70 x 200 cm format is the useful one: knotted once at the throat it sits like a scarf, opened out it covers the shoulders, and folded lengthwise it becomes a narrow wrap for a cool evening. Nothing about it is bulky.

Care: Air the stole outdoors when it only needs freshening. When it needs washing, use lukewarm water by hand or the wool programme at 30 degrees with a wool and cashmere detergent, then dry it flat — never in the tumble dryer. See our washing and care page for the details.
