Dark grey pashmina stole in 2 ply twill weave

A dark grey stole woven in pure cashmere, so light in the hand it seems to weigh nothing at all — 65 grams for a full 70 x 200 cm. The twill weave lays a soft diagonal grain across the surface that catches the light differently as the cloth moves, and the deep, quiet grey sits easily against almost anything already in your wardrobe.

At 70 x 200 cm there is cloth enough to wind twice around the neck, drape loosely from one shoulder, or spread across your lap on a long flight. The yarn is spun from cashmere measuring just 15 µm — the fineness you notice as softness against the skin rather than as anything you can see.

It is woven at our own weaving mill in Nepal, where the fibre and the finished cloth stay in the same hands from beginning to end.

Care: Cashmere needs washing far less often than most people expect — airing it out between wears is usually enough. When it does need a wash, do it by hand with a detergent made for the fibre, such as our own cashmere detergent, press the water out rather than wringing it, and dry the stole flat.
