Dark green pashmina shawl in 2 ply twill weave

Dark green cashmere, hand woven in twill at our own weaving mill in Nepal.

Sixty-five grams across 70 x 200 cm is most of the argument for this shawl: it packs into a corner of a suitcase and weighs nothing on the way, then covers the shoulders on a cold plane or an evening that turned cooler than expected. The twill weave gives the cloth its diagonal parallel ribs and its smooth, easy drape.

The cashmere measures 15 µm — the fibre diameter that decides how the finished cloth feels against the skin. Other colours in the same weave are in our twill woven pashmina stoles, and the shades we keep are set out on the colour chart.

Care: Treated properly, cashmere lasts for years. Air the shawl outdoors overnight instead of washing it whenever you can; when you cannot, wash it by hand in lukewarm water with a detergent intended for wool and cashmere, without rubbing, or use the wool programme at 30 degrees.
