Dark blue pashmina shawl in 2 ply twill weave

A dark blue shawl in pure cashmere, hand woven in twill.

It carries across the day. At 70 x 200 cm it wraps the shoulders over a coat in the morning and folds down to a scarf around the neck by the afternoon, and at 65 grams it is light enough to keep in a bag for whichever of the two you need. The twill weave gives the surface its fine diagonal ribs and the cloth its soft drape.

Hand woven at our own weaving mill in Nepal, in cashmere measuring 15 µm. The weave runs through our twill woven pashmina stoles, and the shades we keep are set out on the colour chart.

Care: Cashmere asks to be washed as little as possible — air the shawl outdoors overnight and it will usually come back fresh. When a wash is due, use a detergent for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on the wool programme at 30 degrees, and dry it flat rather than hanging it wet, which would pull it out of shape.
