Light grey pashmina shawl in 2 ply twill weave

Light grey in pure cashmere, hand woven in twill.

The measurements are what make this shape useful: 70 x 200 cm is wide enough to sit properly across both shoulders and long enough to wind twice around the neck, and at 65 grams neither way of wearing it feels like much. The twill weave leaves fine diagonal ribs in the surface and lets the cloth fall in soft folds.

Woven at our own weaving mill in Nepal from cashmere measuring 15 µm — the fibre diameter that decides how the finished cloth feels against the skin. It sits with the rest of our twill woven pashmina stoles.

Care: Wash it seldom. Airing the shawl outdoors overnight handles most of what a wash would, and when a wash is genuinely needed, a detergent made for wool and cashmere on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees rinses out more cleanly than washing by hand.
