Dark brown pashmina stole in 2 ply twill weave

A stole woven from pure cashmere in a deep, dark brown — a colour with the warmth of bark and roasted coffee, and an easy companion to camel, cream and black alike. The fibre measures just 15 micron, and that is what gives the fabric its weightless density: warm against the skin, and entirely without the prickle of coarser wool.

At 70 x 200 cm it can be worn as a wrap across the shoulders or looped twice around the neck, yet the whole stole weighs no more than 65 grams. Folded, it disappears into a bag and waits there until the evening turns cool. The twill weave leaves a faint diagonal grain across the surface and lets the fabric fall in soft folds instead of holding its shape stiffly.

It is handwoven at our own weaving mill in Nepal, where every length is worked on the loom by hand.

Care: Cashmere needs washing far less often than most textiles — airing the stole between wears keeps it fresh. When it does need a wash, use a detergent made for cashmere and wool, press the water out without wringing, and dry the stole flat.
