Petrol green jacquard pashmina stole

A stole of 70 x 200 cm in 100% cashmere, woven in jacquard, in petrol green. It is broad enough to sit across the shoulders as a shawl, and at 110 g light enough to knot around the neck as a scarf without bulk.

The pattern comes from the loom rather than from a print: jacquard weaves the design into the cloth itself, which is why it reads differently depending on how the light falls on it. The cashmere has a fibre fineness of 15 µm, and the stole is handwoven at our own weaving mill in Nepal. More colours in the same weave are on the jacquard pashmina page.

Care: Most of the time airing the stole outdoors overnight is enough. When it needs washing, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere — by hand in lukewarm water, or on the machine wool programme at 30 degrees — and do not rub the fabric. Press the water out rather than wringing it, dry the stole flat on a towel, and keep it out of the tumble dryer.
