Light grey jacquard pashmina shawl

A light grey stole in 100% cashmere, woven in jacquard — a technique that builds the pattern into the structure of the cloth on the loom instead of printing it on the surface.

It is 70 x 200 cm and weighs 110 grams, a size that works knotted at the throat as well as folded once and worn long over the shoulders. Light grey is the colour to reach for when the rest of the outfit is already dark, and it stays wearable from a winter coat through to a summer evening indoors.

Care: Cashmere wants airing more often than washing. When a wash is due, use lukewarm water with a wool detergent, by hand or on a 30 °C wool programme, and avoid rubbing. Never wring it out or hang it wet — the weight of the water distorts the shape — dry it flat on a towel instead, and keep it away from the tumble dryer.
