Dark grey jacquard pashmina shawl

A dark grey stole in 100% cashmere with a jacquard weave, meaning the pattern is formed on the loom as the cloth is made rather than applied afterwards.

At 70 x 200 cm and 110 grams it is the everyday end of the range: wound twice around the neck under a coat in winter, or left loose over a jacket when the morning is colder than the afternoon. Dark grey does the work of a neutral, so it pairs with as much of a wardrobe as black does without being quite as flat.

Care: Air the stole overnight after wearing rather than washing it each time. For a wash, use lukewarm water and a wool detergent — by hand, or the machine's wool programme at 30 °C — without rubbing, since friction felts the fibres.
