Off white jacquard pashmina stole in pure cashmere

An off white stole in pure cashmere with a jacquard pattern. The pattern is woven into the fabric rather than printed, which is what gives it depth and a play of light instead of a flat surface.

Jacquard weaving is named after its inventor, Joseph Marie Jacquard, whose technique made it possible to weave an almost infinite number of patterns. In off white, at 70 x 200 cm and 110 grams, the stole is a natural companion to a wedding dress or other formal wear — and it works equally well over a coat in daylight.

Care: An off white stole is worth keeping out of unnecessary washes: air it outdoors overnight when it only needs freshening. When washing is needed, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on the wool programme at 30 degrees, without rubbing the fabric.
