Navy blue jacquard pashmina shawl

A navy blue stole in 100% cashmere with a jacquard weave, where the pattern is created on the loom as part of the cloth rather than added to its surface.

It measures 70 x 200 cm and weighs 110 grams. Navy is the colour that behaves like black without the severity, so it takes a suit, a coat or a pair of jeans equally well, and the woven pattern keeps it from looking like a plain office scarf.

Handwoven at our own weaving mill in Nepal from cashmere measuring 15 µm, on looms operated by hand and foot without electricity.

Care: Cashmere needs less washing than most fibres — air the stole overnight and it usually recovers on its own. Otherwise: lukewarm water, wool detergent, by hand or on a 30 °C wool programme, no rubbing. Dry it flat on a towel instead of hanging it wet, and keep it out of the tumble dryer.
