Dark green jacquard pashmina shawl

A dark green stole in 100% cashmere, woven in jacquard. The technique lets the pattern emerge from the weave itself, which is why it reads as texture in the cloth rather than as a print laid over it.

At 70 x 200 cm and 110 grams it wraps twice at the neck with length to spare, and it is light enough to keep on when you come indoors. Dark green is a change from the usual greys and blues without being loud about it, which makes this one an easy gift for someone who already owns the neutrals.

Handwoven at our own weaving mill in Nepal, on looms worked by hand and foot without electricity, from cashmere measuring 15 µm.

Care: Start by airing the stole overnight rather than washing it — that is enough for most wear. When you do wash it, use lukewarm water and a detergent made for wool, by hand or on the machine's wool programme at 30 °C, without rubbing the fibres.
