Coral red jacquard pashmina stole

100% cashmere, woven in jacquard, in coral red. Cashmere with a fibre fineness of 15 µm is what lets a stole be this warm and still this light — the whole piece weighs 110 g.

Jacquard means the pattern is made on the loom, as part of the weave, rather than printed on afterwards, so it catches the light instead of sitting flat on the surface. At 70 x 200 cm the stole covers the shoulders like a shawl and still ties comfortably as a scarf, which is why this weave suits a wedding or another formal occasion as readily as everyday wear. Care: Air the stole outdoors overnight when it is not really dirty — that is usually all cashmere needs. For a proper wash, use a detergent made for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on the wool programme at 30 degrees, and avoid rubbing the fabric, which risks felting it.
