Violet pashmina stole in diamond weave

A violet stole in pure cashmere, woven in diamond pattern at our own mill. Diamond weave is a variation of twill: the diagonal ribs turn and meet to form diamonds, and the raised and lowered facets catch the light from different angles as the cloth falls. The yarn is 15 µm cashmere.

The dimensions are 70 x 200 cm and the whole thing weighs 95 grams. It works as a shawl over a dress and as a scarf under a coat, and takes up almost no room in a bag between the two.

Violet is one of the shades in our colour chart; the other colours in this weave are collected under diamond weave. It is handwoven at our own weaving mill in Nepal.

Care: If the stole is not actually dirty, air it overnight instead of washing it. When it needs more, use a detergent made for wool and cashmere — hand wash in lukewarm water, or the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees — then dry it flat on a dry towel rather than wringing or hanging it.
