Lavender pashmina stole in diamond weave

A pashmina stole in pure cashmere, in lavender, woven in diamond weave. Diamond weave is a variation of twill that forms the shape of a diamond in the fabric, and it catches the light in a way a flat weave does not.

The stole is 70 x 200 cm and weighs 95 grams. That combination is the point of a diamond weave stole: light enough to keep folded in a bag all day, and still enough cashmere to put over the shoulders on a cold evening.

Care: Air the stole outdoors overnight when it is not actually dirty — that is gentler than washing. For a wash, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, without rubbing the fabric.
