Light grey pashmina stole in diamond weave

A stole in pure cashmere, woven in the diamond pattern and dyed light grey. Diamond weave is a variation of twill in which the diagonal ribs turn back on themselves to form the shape of a perfect diamond, and that pattern reflects the light in a very pleasing way.

The yarn is spun from fibres of 15 µm — comfortably inside the 19 µm that separates true cashmere from coarser wool — and the finished stole weighs only 95 grams. At 70 x 200 cm there is cloth enough to loop it twice at the neck or to wear it open across the shoulders, and at 95 grams it takes up almost nothing in a bag.

It is handwoven at our own weaving mill in Nepal, like the rest of our diamond weave stoles.

Care: Wash by hand or on your machine's wool programme at 30 °C with a wool detergent, press the water out without wringing, and dry the stole flat on a towel. Never tumble dry it, and lift any pills off with a cashmere comb rather than pulling at them. The full routine is on our washing and care page.
