Small ocean blue cashmere scarf

A small scarf woven from 100% cashmere, in ocean blue. The yarn is spun from fine 15 µm cashmere, and the finished scarf weighs only 50 grams — enough to keep the chill off without the bulk of a winter scarf.

At 150 x 30 cm it is made for the neck rather than the shoulders: long enough to loop or knot, narrow enough to sit under a coat collar. The other colours in this format are gathered in small cashmere scarves.

The weave is twill, the structure that lays fine diagonal lines across the cloth and lets it fall softly. It is woven by hand at our own weaving mill in Nepal — you can read about how and where we work in handwoven scarves and shawls.

Care: When the scarf is not actually dirty, airing it outdoors overnight is enough. When it does need washing, use a detergent made for wool and cashmere, dry it flat on a dry towel and keep it out of the tumble dryer.
