Small cashmere scarf in orange

Twill is the weave behind this scarf — the diagonal structure you can see close up in the cloth, and the reason it drapes softly instead of holding a crease. Woven in 100% cashmere at 15 µm, it comes out at 50 g for the whole scarf.

At 150 x 30 cm it is the small format, made to be wound at the neck rather than draped over the shoulders. It works the same over a jacket in autumn as it does over a shirt in an over-cooled office in summer.

The colour is orange, one of the orange shades in our colour chart, and the scarf is handwoven at our own weaving mill in Nepal.

Care: Air the scarf outdoors rather than washing it whenever you can. When it needs washing, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere — by hand in lukewarm water or on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, without rubbing — then dry it flat on a towel, never in a tumble dryer.
