Small taupe cashmere scarf

A narrow cashmere scarf in taupe, 150 x 30 cm and 50 g. Small enough to live in a handbag through spring and autumn, and pure cashmere all the same — spun from 15 µm fibre, the fine grade that makes cashmere feel the way it does.

The scarf is woven in twill on a handloom, which is what gives the cloth its soft fall and its diagonal grain. Worn loose it reads as an accent; wound once and tucked into a coat, it does the practical work of a scarf at 50 g. See it beside the other colours in our small cashmere scarves.

Handwoven in our own weaving mill in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal.

Care: Air the scarf outdoors overnight when it only needs freshening up. For a proper wash, use a detergent made for wool and cashmere, either by hand in lukewarm water or on the wool programme, then dry it flat on a towel — never in a tumble dryer.
