Small cashmere scarf in black

A black cashmere scarf is the one that stays in use all year. At 150 x 30 cm and 50 g this one is light enough to keep on indoors, and warm enough to be the layer you add when the evening turns.

It is woven in 100% cashmere at 15 µm — the fineness that makes cashmere soft against the neck rather than scratchy — in a twill weave, which gives the cloth its diagonal grain and soft fall.

Handwoven at our own weaving mill in Nepal. Black has its own entry in our colour chart, and the same scarf is woven in the other colours in small cashmere scarves.

Care: Airing outdoors is usually enough. When a wash is needed, use a wool and cashmere detergent — hand wash in lukewarm water, or the wool programme at 30 degrees — and avoid rubbing, which risks felting the fibre. Dry flat on a towel, never in a tumble dryer. More on our washing and care page.
