Small burgundy cashmere scarf

A small scarf in 100% cashmere, spun from fibres measuring 15 microns. At 150 x 30 cm it is the narrow format — enough cashmere to keep the draught off your neck without the weight or the bulk of a full shawl.

The colour is burgundy, and the weave is twill, the structure with the classic diagonal rib. It is hand woven at our own weaving mill in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal. The whole scarf weighs 50 grams, so it takes up almost no room in a bag — as useful in an air-conditioned office in July as under a coat in January.

Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water, or on the wool programme at 30 °C, with a detergent made for wool and cashmere. Press the water out without wringing, dry the scarf flat and never tumble dry it. The full routine is on our washing and care page.
