Small cashmere scarf in soft pink

This is the small scarf format: 150 x 30 cm of pure cashmere, weighing 50 g in total. It is the size you reach for when a shawl is too much — slim enough to knot close at the throat, long enough to hang loose down a coat.

The yarn is cashmere at 15 µm, and the cloth is woven in twill, the diagonal weave that gives cashmere its soft fall rather than a flat, stiff surface. The colour is soft pink, one of the pink shades in our colour chart.

It is handwoven at our own weaving mill in the Kathmandu valley in Nepal, as all our small cashmere scarves are.

Care: Airing outdoors is enough for a scarf that is not really dirty. For an actual wash, use a wool and cashmere detergent, either by hand in lukewarm water or on the wool programme at 30 degrees, and avoid rubbing the fabric.
