White giant shawl in cashmere 200 x 140 cm

A shawl in 100% cashmere, woven in white and measuring 200 x 140 cm. It weighs 130 g, so the whole width of it folds into a bag without weighing it down.

Twill weave and 15 µm cashmere give the cloth a soft fall: over the shoulders it settles as a wrap rather than sitting square, and folded lengthwise it wears as a wide scarf. Opened right out it is large enough to use as a travel blanket. See the rest of the range in extra large shawls.

Handwoven in our own weaving mill in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal.

Care: Airing the shawl outdoors overnight is usually all it needs. For a real wash, use a detergent intended for wool and cashmere, either by hand in lukewarm water or on your machine's wool programme, and avoid rubbing the cloth.
