Orange giant shawl in cashmere 200 x 140 cm

Pure cashmere in a twill weave, handwoven so the fine diagonal ribs run through the whole cloth. The fibre measures 15 µm — fine enough that the shawl can be worn directly on the skin.

200 x 140 cm gives you a real shawl rather than a scarf: enough cloth to wrap right around, to drape over one shoulder, or to fold and carry over the arm until the evening turns cool. The colour is orange.

It is handwoven at our own weaving mill in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal. The full range of colours we weave is set out on our colour chart.

Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water, or in the machine on the wool programme at 30 degrees, using a detergent made for wool and cashmere. Never tumble dry — dry the shawl flat on a dry towel. The full method is on our washing and care instructions for cashmere.
