Taupe grey giant shawl in cashmere 200 x 140 cm

A giant shawl in pure cashmere, woven in twill so the cloth carries the fine diagonal ribbing that weave gives. The fibre measures 15 µm, and at that fineness cashmere can be worn straight against the skin.

At 200 x 140 cm there is enough cloth to use it in more than one way — worn open across the shoulders as a wrap, folded double as an oversized scarf, or spread over your lap on a long journey. This one is taupe.

It is handwoven at our own weaving mill in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, like the rest of our extra large shawls.

Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water, or in the machine on the wool programme at 30 degrees, using a detergent made for wool and cashmere. Never tumble dry — dry the shawl flat on a dry towel. The full method is on our washing and care instructions for cashmere.
