Dark golden giant shawl in cashmere 200 x 140 cm

A giant shawl handwoven from 100% cashmere. The twill weave leaves its characteristic fine diagonal ribbing across the cloth, and the 15 µm fibre gives the softness cashmere is bought for.

The size is 200 x 140 cm — enough to be worn as a full wrap over both shoulders, folded double around the neck, or laid over a chair and picked up when the temperature drops. The colour is dark golden.

It is woven by hand at our own weaving mill in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, alongside the other extra large shawls in this size.

Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water, or in the machine on the wool programme at 30 degrees, using a detergent made for wool and cashmere. Never tumble dry — dry the shawl flat on a dry towel. The full method is on our washing and care instructions for cashmere.
