Burgundy giant shawl in cashmere 200 x 140 cm

100% cashmere, woven from fibres measuring 15 microns, in burgundy. The weave is twill — the structure that gives cashmere its diagonal rib.

At 200 x 140 cm this is a shawl in the extra large format, wide enough to work as a wrap over a dress, folded lengthwise as a scarf, or opened out over your knees on a long journey. The whole thing weighs 130 grams. It is hand woven at our own weaving mill in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal.

Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water, or on the wool programme at 30 °C, with a detergent intended for wool and cashmere. No tumble dryer. Press the water out rather than wringing, and dry the shawl flat on a towel. The complete instructions are on our care page.
