Mouse grey giant shawl in cashmere 200 x 140 cm

A giant shawl in 100% cashmere. The twill weave gives a surface of fine parallel diagonal ribs, and at 15 µm the fibre stays soft rather than scratchy against the neck.

At 200 x 140 cm it does the work of several garments: a wrap for the evening, an extra layer over a jacket in the shoulder seasons, something to put across your knees when the room is cold. The colour is mouse grey.

It is woven by hand at our own mill in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, in the same twill weave we use for our stoles.

Care: Wash by hand in lukewarm water, or in the machine on the wool programme at 30 degrees, using a detergent made for wool and cashmere. Never tumble dry — dry the shawl flat on a dry towel. The full method is on our washing and care instructions for cashmere.
