Shaded pashmina shawl in petrol blue and vibrant green

A dip dye shawl in pure cashmere, dyed so that petrol blue and vibrant green blend into one another across the cloth instead of meeting at a line. The yarn is spun from 15-micron cashmere and woven in twill, which gives the surface its fine diagonal parallel ribs.

The whole shawl measures 70 x 200 cm and weighs 65 grams — feather light, and light enough to pull through a finger ring. That is the kind of shawl you take to an evening in a dress and then keep folded in a bag for the rest of the season, because it takes up almost no room and adds almost no weight. Care: Airing the shawl outdoors overnight is usually enough. When it needs washing, use a detergent made for wool and cashmere, by hand in lukewarm water or on the machine's wool programme at 30 degrees, and avoid rubbing the fabric.
