Two coloured shaded pashmina shawl in purple and coral

A two coloured shaded pashmina shawl that runs from a deep purple down into a warm coral. The two colours are dyed so they blend into one another rather than meet at a seam, which makes the shawl look different depending on how it falls.

It is woven in pure cashmere from 15 µm fibres and weighs only 65 grams — the whole shawl folds down to almost nothing in a bag. The twill weave gives the surface a fine diagonal grain and a soft, fluid drape.

At 70 x 200 cm it works as both scarf and shawl: over the shoulders for an evening out, wound twice around the neck under a coat, or loose over a plain dress when the purple end is the only colour you need. It is handwoven at our own weaving mill in Nepal.
