Curry yellow knitted cashmere scarf

A knitted scarf in pure cashmere, in curry yellow. One fibre, nothing blended in, spun at 15 µm — fine enough that a scarf this warm still feels weightless around the neck.

At 180 x 50 cm it is a proper scarf rather than a token one: long enough to loop once and still leave the ends hanging, wide enough to open out across the shoulders when you want the coverage instead. That width is what lets it work over a coat in January and over nothing much at all in a draughty office.

Care: Cashmere needs washing far less often than you would think — hang it out overnight and it comes back fresh. When it does need it, use a detergent for wool and cashmere, hand wash in lukewarm water or run a 30°C wool cycle, and do not rub. Squeeze the water out, dry the scarf flat on a towel rather than hanging it wet, and never tumble dry. A cashmere comb removes pills. Full guidance in our washing and care guide for cashmere.
