Light grey knitted cashmere scarf

A scarf knitted in pure cashmere, in light grey. The fibre is fine enough — 15 µm — that the scarf feels weightless in the hand and still holds its warmth once it is around your neck, which is the quality that separates cashmere from ordinary wool.

At 180 x 50 cm there is enough length to knot it properly, wrap it twice on a cold day, or leave it hanging open down the front of a coat. Light grey works as a quiet counterweight to darker outerwear. It sits with the rest of our cashmere scarves and among our plain coloured scarves and stoles.

Care: Air it between wears; wash only when it is genuinely dirty, using a wool detergent by hand in lukewarm water or on the machine's 30°C wool programme. Do not rub the knit, as the wool risks felting. Dry flat on a towel rather than on a hanger, never tumble dry, and remove any pills with a cashmere comb.
